Evaluating dental x-rays to identify areas needing attention is an art and often subject to missing key items due to the limited time available to review. Catalyst provided the UX design for this AI assisted solution that pre-evaluates X-rays and identifies potential issues. The dentist can review, select the items to be treated and share a treatment plan with the patient via tablet.

ShotSpotter is the global leader in gunshot detection, location and forensic analysis. Catalyst UX worked with ShotSpotter to design and develop their suite of monitoring center and mobile applications. This work leveraged IoT sensors for audio triangulation pinpoints and machine learning algorithms to notify first responders, security personnel and law enforcement of gunshot incidents.

This system improves upon existing minimally invasive techniques by integrating robotics, micro-instrumentation, endoscope design, sensing, and data science into one platform to enable new categories of care.
